Roadside Help

Roadside assistance in New Orleans. Often faster than a tow.

Most calls we get are not actual tows - they are a dead battery, a flat tire, an empty tank, or a locked key. A 20-minute roadside call gets you back on the road and usually saves the full tow fee. We provide roadside assistance across the New Orleans metro, including the French Quarter, Uptown, Metairie, Kenner, Algiers, and every neighborhood in between. We stock everything on the truck: jump packs, spare tires, fuel cans, and lockout tools.

What do homeowners ask about Roadside Help?

Do you provide roadside assistance in Metairie, Kenner, and other New Orleans neighborhoods?

Yes - Quick Tow New Orleans covers the entire metro for roadside assistance, including the French Quarter, Uptown, Metairie, Kenner, Algiers, Gretna, Chalmette, and Slidell. Average arrival is 30-45 minutes in the urban core and up to 45-75 minutes in the River Parishes and across the Causeway on the Northshore. Call (858) 925-5546 for a real ETA based on your exact location.

Will a jump start fix my car?

If the battery is the only issue, yes - usually you can drive away after 10 minutes of idle. If the alternator is bad or the battery will not hold a charge, we will tow you to a shop. We diagnose before recommending; you get honesty, not a sales pitch for the tow.

Can you change a tire on I-10 or the High Rise?

We can, but if the flat is on the traffic side of the vehicle on an active highway, the safer move is a short tow off the road to a safe lot where we swap the tire. The High Rise over the Industrial Canal has no real shoulder at all, so a flat there means a controlled tow off the bridge first, not a roadside change. Louisiana State Police often shuts a lane to allow safe tire work elsewhere on the corridor.

How much fuel do you bring?

We bring 2 gallons of gasoline or diesel minimum. That is enough to get you to the nearest station - we do not fill the tank at roadside because of pricing and safety. Fuel is charged at cost plus a small service surcharge.

What if I need a tow after the roadside call?

If the roadside work does not solve it, the tow is dispatched from the same call - no second response fee. You pay the tow rate; the roadside call is bundled.
